Wonderful work of our volunteers has made it all the way to the front page of Ham & High Broadway. The word is truly out and we hope that Crouch End and Muswell Hill community will come in numbers on Saturday.
Fundraising results are coming in and Weston Park have raised an amazing £475 yesterday for Delete Blood Cancer UK. WELL DONE!!!
More businesses are being swabbed (pics to follow) and stall holders are getting ready for Saturday. Had a sneaky preview of pop-cakes this morning. Very delicious.
Coleridge School will be running registration desk tomorrow from 2.30 to 4pm for those who can’t come on Saturday. Don’t worry, if you can’t make it tomorrow as well. You can register by ordering a DIY kit .
As we go around and swab people, there are more and more questions about what happens if someone is a match. Well, consider yourself lucky! The chances of becoming a match is about 1 in 1,200. That is why it is important to have as many people on the register as possible. After all, it is a numbers game. Please follow this link to a section of our website which fully answers that all important ‘what if?’ question. Worth pointing out, that at the time of the registration our trained volunteers will explain every person registering what will be involved if you are in luck!
In addition to cameras, have your tennis rackets ready. Coolhurst Tennis Club will be running 30 min drop- sessions of mini-tennis and mini-squash on school grounds from 12.00 – 14.00 for kids 5-10 years old at £3 per session with all money raised going to Delete Blood Cancer UK. Please reserve your place by emailing lucy.o.dean@googlemail.com
ONE MORE DAY TO GO. ALL HANDS ON DECK!
