Programme

All participating businesses will be donating at least 30% of their profits from the day to Delete Blood Cancer UK

10am – Swab. Save a Life event will be officially opened by The Worshipful the Mayor, Cllr Kaushika Amin

REGISTRATION HALL

Stem cell registration and swabbing throughout the day. More details are here

FUNDRAISING HALL

Plenty of stall to visit and enjoy throughout the day:

Beautiful bows and wrist bands from Team Margot, wonderful prints from Rebecca Denton, yummy offerings from Pop-Cake, Piece of Heaven, Dandy Candies, Muddy Boots, great lunch on offer from TooTooMoo and we couldn’t do without the face paint, a popcorn machine and…a proper coffee! Seating area will also be available.

15.45 – The Raffle!!

SCHOOL GROUNDS

Food market stalls, sports activities, Bows and Arrows (huge fun for all!)

12.00 – 14.00 Coolhurst Tennis Club will be running 30 min drop-in mini-squash and mini tennis sessions for 5-10 year olds at £3 per child. All proceed will go to Delete Blood Cancer UK

ART ROOM

Ceramic Circle will be running creative ceramic painting drop-in sessions for kids and adults throughout the day

LIBRARY

10.15 – 10.45

Reading of Peppa Pig stories by Harley Bird, an actress and the voice of Peppa Pig! (have your books ready to sign and cameras charged!) .

11.00 – 11.30

Dr Ellie Cannon, a media doctor best known for her weekly health column in the Mail on Sunday and her regular appearance on Sky News Sunrise will be signing her new book ‘Keep Calm. The New Mum’s Manual‘.

11.30 – 12.00 and 14.30 – 15.00

Reading and book signing by Emma Chichester Clark, a highly regarded children’s book illustrator and author. She has published over 60 books and is best known for her series of picture books about a child’s toy called Blue Kangaroo (Margot’s favourite!) .  Emma’s books will be on sale after each session, curtesy of Pickled Pepper Books

12.30 – 13.00

Reading, book sale and signing with author of Frank Prepares a Party. A Crouch End Tale, Sarah Bailey.

DANCE STUDIO

10.30 – 11.00 – Jenny’s Jam,  guitar led music for under 5s

13.30 – 14.00 – Reading of Peppa Pig stories by Harley Bird, an actress and the voice of Peppa Pig!

14.30 – 15.00 – Yoga for Kids by Emma Charvet of Little Yoga Monkeys
